Understanding the Lash Growth Cycle
An individual eyelash undergoes a 3-part cycle.
1. The growth phase (Anagen) lasts anywhere between 30 to 45 days. A healthy eyelash follicle might grow a lash for up to 45 days, while an unhealthy eyelash follicle might grow a lash for just 30 days. Approximately 40% of the upper eyelashes and 15% of the lower eyelashes are in the growth phase at any one time. Applying the serum during this phase will help to accelerate growth.
2.The transition phase (Catagen) lasts between 14 to 21 days. The eyelashes stop growing, and the follicles begin to break down. Emphasizing healthy follicles is essential in this phase. Applying the serum during this phase will help to nourish the hair follicles.
3. In the resting phase (Telogen), the eyelashes will fallout naturally because the follicles have broken down to return to the growth phase. The resting phase can last between 90 to 120 days. Applying the serum during this phase will help to prepare the hair cell layers for the growth phase.

It is best to apply the serum on a consistent basis for a minimum of 60 days (typical growth cycle) to achieve the best result.
